About
About the 2027 edition
Best Calorie Tracker 2027 is a single-question publication. It exists to give one clear, current answer to "which calorie tracker should I use in 2027?", and to explain that answer well enough that you can disagree with it.
Hannah Whitlock, editor
Hannah writes the ranking and the notes. She judges every app by one test: whether a normal person, on a normal week, would keep using it. She is not a dietitian and does not give medical advice.
Theo Marchetti, plans and prices
Theo keeps the tables honest. He reads each company's plans, prices and feature pages, records the date he checked them, and logs every change on the corrections page. If a cell says "—", it is because Theo could not confirm it.
How the site is run
No ads, no sign-ups, no tracking scripts. The site does not sell placements in the ranking. App names and trademarks belong to their owners; links go to each company's own website or app-store page.
Health note
The edition is general information about apps, not medical advice. If you have diabetes, kidney disease, a history of disordered eating, or are pregnant, set calorie and nutrient targets with a qualified clinician.
